CFO Newsletter – Issue 8 – November 2022

Posted on 1st December 2022 at 11:53 am by ryan / Uncategorised

Here’s our update for the month of May.

CFO Newsletter – Issue 8 – November 2022

Winter is well and truly here and despite the cold temperatures our team here at CFO Flooring still have warm hearts and smiles on our faces. November was another busy month for CFO Flooring with the warehouse busy with many customers wanting carpets fitted before Christmas.

The remnant ends from Crucial Trading arrived in mid November but before we had chance to put the carpet on display we took delivery of the remaining stock from Rowe Carpets after their closure. This has meant that we now have more carpets in stock than ever before. The plan in January will be to hold an extensive sale with the aim to sell our excess stock at hugely discounted rates.

We had the pleasure of welcoming back Angelo to Carpet Factory Outlets in November. We agreed that CFO and Crucial Trading would be a great partnership moving forward and we will now be representing their high quality brand.

Highlights for November were the installation of Victoria Burford Twist carpet to the offices at Aztec Labels on Firs Industrial Estate. We will be installing Brockway Carpets Dimensions in colour Caviar in the New Year. I would like to give a special thank you to Colin and Sharon for their support and their patience with our installation team.

We supplied two Brintons Axminster carpet remnants to Bromley Churchill Theatre. The carpet is to be used on stage to replicate a 1980’s Working Men’s Social Club in a drag show called “A Christmas Carole”

Mr Morris of Broughton Pianos ordered 36 boxes of Karndean Art Select for his showroom and Roger Bowles ordered 16m2 of Ted Todd Oak flooring and 20 square metres of Brintons Marquis for the dance floor at the Old Street Tavern in Ludlow

We also delivered over 100m2 of Victoria Carpets Luxuria in colour Sugarplum Fairy to Poole for our regular customers Mr and Mrs Cox-Chanin

Finally, we would like wish Johal a very speedy recovery. It was a pleasure to see him last week at his home and we look forward to fitting his beautiful Brintons Quickweave carpet to his stairs and landing in the New Year

Four Reasons You Should Buy A Carpet For Your Home

Posted on 27th November 2022 at 4:47 pm by ryan / Uncategorised

When you walk into your house, what do you see? Is it the designer wallpaper or the fancy furniture pieces? What makes you feel comfortable in your house? A cozy Brintons carpet, that’s what! Brintons carpets help create a pleasant atmosphere and are an essential part of any home. Here are 4 good reasons why you should buy one.

Brintons Carpets Reduce Noise And Mould Growth

Brintons carpets are often used in homes and office spaces for their ability to reduce noise and absorb sound. They also help to prevent the growth of mould. This is because Brintons carpets are also easier to clean than other flooring options. They can be vacuumed or steam cleaned on a regular basis.

Carpets Can Enhance The Look Of Your Home

There’s no denying that a well-placed Brintons carpets can enhance the look of your home. They add color, pattern, and texture to any room, making it feel more inviting and cozy. If you’re looking to add a little something extra to your home décor, consider investing in a Brintons carpet. You won’t regret it!

Your Feet Will Thank You After A Long Day

There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day and sinking your tired feet into a soft, cozy Brintons carpet. It’s like a big hug for your feet! Even better, Brintons carpets are great for insulating your home and keeping it warm in the winter. So not only do they feel good, they can also help you save on your energy bills.

They Protect Your Floors

One of the best ways to protect your floors from wear and tear is to invest in good-quality carpets. Brintons carpets act as a buffer between your floors and your furniture, absorbing the impact of chairs, tables, and other pieces of furniture being moved around. They also help to keep your floors clean by trapping dirt and dust before it has a chance to get ground into your flooring.

Conclusion

Brintons carpets add life to any home and are one of the best ways to bring vibrancy and warmth wherever they’re placed. They also come with many other benefits that you might not be aware of. Purchasing a Brintons carpet for your home not just adds a unique look, but also protects it from dirt, moisture, and germs, along with other harmful factors. Even if you don’t plan on using your carpets often because of limited space in your home or because you prefer more comfortable furniture instead of hard flooring, investing in a carpet is an excellent long-term investment.

What to consider when buying a new home carpet

Posted on 22nd November 2022 at 4:53 pm by ryan / Uncategorised

Brintons carpets are an essential part of any home. They keep your floors clean and dust-free and they make living spaces feel more welcoming. However, buying a new carpet is a big investment that shouldn’t be taken lightly. There are many things you need to consider before making your purchase, from the type of carpet you need to the quality of the materials used and even your home’s layout. Here are some tips on how to buy new Brintons carpets.

Know the type of carpet you need

The type of Brinton carpet you need depends on the room you’re putting it in and how much traffic it will get. If you have a low-traffic room, like a bedroom, you can get away with a more delicate carpet. But if you have a high-traffic room, like a living room, you’ll need a tougher, stain-resistant carpet. Once you know the type of room you’re working with, you can start shopping for the best Brintons carpet.

Always buy from a reputable dealer

If you’re looking for a new carpet, it’s important to buy from a reputable company like Brintons carpets. Not only will you get a better quality product, but you’ll also be able to take advantage of warranties and other benefits. A reputable company will also be more likely to stand behind its product if there are any issues.

Choose the right type of material

Choosing the best Brintons carpet material can be tricky. There are various different types of materials to select from, and each has its own pros and cons. The most important thing to keep in mind is what you’ll be using your Brintons carpet for. If you need a carpet that can withstand a lot of traffic, then you’ll want to choose a durable material like nylon or polyester. If you need a carpet that’s more stain-resistant, then you’ll want to choose a material like olefin or polypropylene.

Have a budget when buying a new carpet

When buying a new carpet, always have a budget in mind. This is because carpets can be expensive. Therefore, you should know how much you can afford to spend. There are a variety of carpet types and styles available, and the price will vary depending on the type of Brintons carpet you choose. It is important to compare prices and get the best deal possible.

Bottom line

When considering what type of Brintons carpet to buy for your home, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Every carpet has different primary characteristics that should be considered before making a purchase. If you are unsure of how to select your ideal Brintons carpet, seek advice from one of the staff working in the store.

With sadness we see that Rowe Carpets are closing their doors for the final time at their showroom on New Road in Kidderminster. The Rowe family are synonymous with high quality carpets in the local area and they will be a miss to our trade. Highlights for the month were receiving order of over 100m2 of Ted Todd Herringbone from Mrs Elphrahim and a custom Brintons Quickweave carpet from Johal for his house in Edgbaston. Thank you Johal, I hope you are feeling well after your operation and we look forward to seeing the photos of the carpet after the installation in December.

There are many to thank this month from me. Firstly to Helen and John Ingram, it has been an absolute pleasure meeting and getting to know them. I am delighted that the installation of the Brintons Carpets has gone well and you are happy. I look forward to catching up with you again in the New Year. Secondly to Brad Hewitt, it’s been a pleasure to supply you with the Victoria Carpets Ultimate Impressions. Finally to John Stinton, I loved our little chats about the old times in the carpet industry in Kidderminster and wish you and your family all the very best. Brintons best carpets and their description

Posted on 25th August 2022 at 10:33 am by ryan / Uncategorised

Carpets have been recognized for centuries as attractive interior decoration and an extreme design point. In addition to exceptional floor decoration, they perform several important functions inside a room. However, for a carpet to be functional, you must spend some time choosing the right one. We highlight the main features you should consider when choosing a Brintons Carpets

Disadvantages and advantages of using carpets.

Although interest in carpets has declined significantly, they have not been completely pushed out of apartments. In modern minimalist arrangements, the use of carpets is increasingly being eschewed. Raw floor tiles or interesting panels are a decoration where no additional ornament is needed. They are used as smaller decorations of selected zones, a play area for children, or bedroom carpets that quiet the room.

It is precisely the sound attenuation that is one of the biggest advantages of Brintons Carpets, in addition to their decorative qualities, of course. Especially products with dense piles prevent the spread of noise. They are also pleasant to the touch, which is why wool carpets find a place in the lounge area. The biggest disadvantage of Brintons Carpets is the difficulty of keeping them clean. Especially the mentioned products with dense piles are difficult to vacuum. Often a non-slip mat under the carpet is needed to stabilize them in one position.

Agnella Ishafan – a new interpretation of tradition.

True classics defend themselves always and everywhere. First, traditional patterns also find their way into modern interiors; second, designers find a fresh, innovative interpretation for almost every season. In completing the Ishafan collection, Agnelli designers have taken the latter path – with excellent results!

The collection’s name and dominant patterns betray its Persian connotations. Central rosettes, floral patterns, and decorative bordering are well known in traditional carpets. The difference lies in the colors. After all, royal reds, warm browns, and beiges are characteristic of the Orient; Agnelia’s novelties do not lack such models either, but right next to them, we will find Carpets as if passed through a monochromatic filter. The classic design kept in cool purple, mint, or pastel pink looks surprisingly contemporary.

The second interesting idea is a graphic simplification of oriental intricate ornaments. This solution gives them an even more modern character. Such Brintons Carpets fit perfectly into current trends: a cool color palette will bring them closer to the fashionable industrial style, and a fusion of ethnic and modern motifs, in turn, is a frequently used treatment in Scandinavian interiors.

Agnella Yoki – carpets done in gray.

Gray has taken over interior trends for good. Fully deservedly – it’s an elegant and, at the same time, extremely versatile color, matching most colors and textures. The gray palette is the common denominator of Agnella Yoki carpets.

The collection uses the most fashionable motifs – you will find both monochromatic “hairy” and graphic patterned carpets. Some models are kept in cool tones, often pairing gray with white. At the other pole are warmer shades, falling into beige. All tricks are allowed; the only constant is color.

Both editions look great in modern arrangements, kept in subdued colors, but not only – Agnella Yoki Brintons Carpets will effectively ‘calm’ colorful walls, furniture, or accessories. Try gray combined with fuchsia, red, and mint; even crazy color-blocking crosses will work on a universal background!

Agnella Sevilla’s – in the rhythm of flamenco

Ethnic motifs have reigned supreme in the interior design industry for a few seasons. Within the overall trend, there are a few leading trends that, by now, you may have grown a bit tired of or never really hit your fancy. If you’re looking for something beyond African batik, Moroccan clover, or Gabbeh-style patchwork, look to the Iberian Peninsula: Agnella Seville carpets bring us closer to the beauty of Spanish folklore.

The model’s name rightly points to inspirations native to Andalusia: the characteristic semicircular pattern and contrasting color combinations are reminiscent of Explanada de Espana flooring – a symbol of the city of Alicante. The graphic motif also evokes the art of pop art and the warm color scheme – the trends of the 70s. Each of these associations can become a direction for you to arrange the entire interior. If none of them convinces you, we suggest the fashionable jungle style: the carpet will look great, surrounded by raw wood, wicker, and lots of luscious green potted plants.

Here’s our update for the month of May.

CFO Newsletter – Issue 1 – July 2022

The hot weather continued in July and whilst Russ, Meg and Phil enjoyed their holidays in the Canaries and Greece respectively, the rest of us melted in the heat of the showroom and warehouse.

Highlights in July were the installation of over 300m2 of Victoria Carpets installed in the bedrooms, landing, and staircase to a new self-build home in Whittington and over 100 boxes of Ted Todd Herringbone wood flooring to a house in Broseley. Photos will be shared on our Instagram and Facebook accounts over the coming weeks.

Our new Karndean showroom was installed at the end of July. This state-of-the-art new showroom includes samples of all the latest LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) products available to take away and view in your home.

New stock has arrived from Brintons Carpets and Brockway Carpets with the highlights, a remnant end of Timorous Beasties Noir Ruskin Butterfly, 2 rolls of slight seconds of Jet Damask along with some discontinued remnant ends of Solar in colours such as Ecru, Blush, Battleship and Lily amongst others.

And finally, a very big shout out to a most lovely couple Pam and Rob Murray. It has been an absolute pleasure to meet them and find a carpet for their lounge. It is not often that a truly genuine couple make such an impact on you, but I must admit I can’t wait to join them for a cup of tea, a few biscuits, and a good natter in a few weeks once their carpet is fitted.
